Recently, AI has continued to accelerate its real-world adoption in vertical scenarios.

In the legal field, EvenUp uses AI to help lawyers draft personal injury claim documents. It has just completed $135 million in funding at a valuation of over $1 billion. More than 1,000 law firms use EvenUp, helping them recover more than $1.5 billion in compensation. [2]

In real-time interaction, Agora stood at the center of the AI voice wave in 2024. Agora founder and CEO Zhao Bin proposed at the 10th RTE Conference that generative AI will drive four transformations in the IT industry over the next decade, including terminals evolving with large-model capability support as the core, all software being reimplemented through large models, and all clouds needing to have large-model training and inference capabilities. In industrial scenarios, Weiyi Intelligent Manufacturing launched an embodied intelligent industrial robot, “Chuang TRON.” Its chairman and CEO Zhang Zhiqi believes that if an industrial scenario has an agent with perception, cognition, and execution capabilities, a humanoid form is not necessarily the optimal solution on the industrial floor. Independent developer idoubi quit his job and built 11 products in a year, including AI red envelopes, AI wallpapers, AI virtual try-on, AI knowledge bases, and more. In an interview, he said AI-assisted programming has only some one-sided capabilities; it can help implement standard code, but it cannot help you do architecture. AI will always be an auxiliary role. [5]

In content creation, at a closed-door discussion on AI and content creation organized by Zebra Labs and Shengdong Huopo, guests suggested that AI tools can play a supporting role in music creation but cannot completely replace creators. Some argued that whether humans develop feelings for AI is not a matter of when, but of how deeply people will fall in love with AI. [6]

YouTube’s monetization history has also been revisited. As the world’s largest mid-to-long-form video platform, YouTube surpassed 2.7 billion monthly active users this year and achieved $31.5 billion in total revenue last year. In advertising revenue, YouTube keeps 45% and creators receive 55%; this ad revenue-sharing model has remained in use to this day. [1]
