Wuzhen Digital Culture Formats Take Spotlight as Autumn Holiday Tourism and National Standards Advance in Parallel

From cultural consumption to industrial governance, several recent developments point to a common thread: digital technology, holiday travel and standards and rules are becoming more deeply embedded in everyday economic life. Wuzhen's digital culture display, the tourism heat driven by autumn holidays, and the latest changes in standards and logistics data offer a set of perspectives for observing current market vitality and governance approaches.
Wuzhen Summit Showcases New Digital Culture Application Scenarios
At the 'Light of the Internet' Expo of the Wuzhen Summit, visitors queued in front of an AI cultural and creative vending machine. After scanning a QR code, entering their names and choosing a theme style, they could receive an AI-customized cultural and creative fridge magnet in just over ten seconds; the AI Time Book turned yellowed old photos into dynamic, high-definition, color videos. A staff member at the exhibition area of Zhejiang Cultural Industry Investment Group introduced that models for ancient building inspection and diagnosis, 3D generation of ancient buildings, archaeology and museums, and Chinese painting analysis have been established. The Chinese painting analysis model has already been used in research projects such as the 'Comprehensive Collection of Chinese Paintings through the Ages'. [1]
The model capabilities behind digital culture were also concretely presented at the expo. The Wenrun large model is based on 20 omni-modal corpora, including the base's self-built archives of museum artifacts, cultural heritage records and classical documents. Its cultural genealogy retrieval completeness exceeds 90%, and the credibility of cultural historical facts is above 87%; the National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot Base (Culture and Tourism) has been established in Hangzhou, and some application scenarios are precisely practices of the Wenrun series of large models. At the same time, the Chaoguangying movie ticket stub benefit platform has more than 1.6 million online registered users, showing the user base for combining cultural consumption with online services. [1]
The concentrated display of Chinese trend IP was also noteworthy. The second CPOPwave immersive group portrait exhibition appeared at the Puyuan venue of the Wuzhen Summit, with popular Chinese trend IPs such as 'Genshin Impact', 'Where Winds Meet' and 'Wuthering Waves' presented together, while visitors toured and played with check-in maps in hand. Wang Xuan, chief producer of CPOPwave, said that Chinese IPs have often had bright fleeting moments overseas, but mostly appeared as individual titles and did not form a collective voice. CPOPwave hopes to integrate packaging and external promotion in the form of group portraits, creating a collective calling card for Chinese popular culture going global. [1]
Standards Governance Focuses on Industry Order and Enterprise Risk
According to a November 5 message on the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the administration issued a decision to the China Animal Products Circulation Association to revoke a group standard in accordance with the law, revoking the group standard 'Technical Specification for Sheep Cashmere Trading' (T/CAPMA 9—2025) effective immediately and publicizing it on the standard information public service platform. An investigation found that the term and definition of 'sheep cashmere' in the standard did not meet the requirements of national standards such as 'Sheep Wool' (GB 1523—2013) and 'Natural Fibers — Terminology' (GB/T 11951—2018), violating relevant provisions of the Standardization Law, and that the standard had problems such as unlawful content and non-compliant formulation procedures; after publication, some business entities also used it for false commercial publicity, selling dehaired sheep wool products under the name of 'sheep cashmere', confusing the concepts of wool and cashmere, misleading consumers and disrupting industry order. [2]
A message released the same day also showed that the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration) approved and released the national standard 'Guidelines for Evaluating the Effectiveness of Enterprise Risk Management', which cross-verifies from five dimensions: 'looking at history, looking at the system, looking at exposure, looking at capability and looking at perception', making enterprise risk management results measurable and comparable. The standard proposes that historical performance evaluation should generally select no fewer than five historical periods or five projects; system soundness should examine institutional processes, risk appetite, key position capabilities, knowledge sharing and supervision mechanisms; risk exposure covers asset categories, liability categories and contingent items, while risk resistance comprehensively considers business operations, resource guarantees and organizational governance, and subjective perception focuses on stakeholders' 'sense of reassurance' and 'sense of confidence'. Autumn Holidays Boost Study Tours and Family Trips; Scenic Spots Offer Free Admission
Starting in November, primary and secondary schools in more than 100 cities across China have successively begun autumn holidays, and train and flight ticket bookings have risen accordingly. Wang Ting, a ticket seller at Yangzhou Station, said popular destinations include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Nanjing and Xuzhou, with many children traveling to Beijing for study tours; in aviation, destinations such as Xiamen, Chimelong in Zhuhai and Chaoshan have attracted family travelers. This autumn semester is the first time that Hainan's primary and secondary schools have implemented an autumn holiday system, with cities and counties arranging it independently according to teaching progress. Some travel agencies in Haikou have launched industrial study tours, marine study tours, aerospace science popularization study tours and tropical rainforest study tours, with aerospace study tours particularly popular. [3]
Scenic spots are also releasing discounts intensively. Fifteen 4A-level and above scenic spots in Huangshan, Anhui, have introduced a free ticket policy. From November 1 to 30, young people under 18 nationwide, excluding commercial study tour groups, will have their first-tier tickets waived, covering core scenic spots such as Huangshan Scenic Area, Xidi, Hongcun, Qiyun Mountain and Taiping Lake. Among them, the policy for Huangshan Scenic Area, Huashan Mystery Cave and Taiping Lake has been extended to December 31. Xidi Ancient Village has upgraded sightseeing into an immersive cultural study tour experience; the ninth 'Winter Travel to Tibet' campaign has also begun, with multiple A-level scenic spots in Tibet implementing free ticket policies. Logistics Prosperity Index Remains in Expansion; Consumer Logistics a Clear Driver
Data released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing shows that China's logistics prosperity index was 51.2% in October, remaining in expansion, with seven sub-indices in the expansion range. On the demand side, the new orders index was 51.5%, up 0.3 percentage points from the previous month, with obvious regional differentiation: the central and western regions rebounded, while the eastern region declined. October is a traditional peak season for e-commerce promotions and household consumption, and the driving role of consumer logistics is prominent. The total business volume index of the postal and express delivery industry has remained above 65% for four consecutive months; the capital turnover rate, completed investment in fixed assets and employment index rebounded from the previous month, corporate profits improved, and the business activity expectations index has remained in the high-prosperity range above 54% for three consecutive months. Autumn Scenery in Southern Anhui Reflects Tourism Heat
In Chizhou, Anhui, autumn colors are deepening at Jiuhua Tianchi, with colorful forests around the lake, clear water like a mirror, and tour boats passing through, with mountains and water complementing each other to form a vivid autumn picture of southern Anhui. [6]
Common Trends and Follow-up Focus
From digital culture applications in Wuzhen to study tours, family trips and free scenic admission driven by autumn holidays, and then to standards governance and the logistics prosperity index, several threads point to the interplay among technology, consumption and rules: digital technology is entering the links of cultural production and copyright circulation, the holiday system and benefit policies are turning family travel into cultural tourism consumption, and standards are maintaining market order at both ends of product terminology and risk management. In the future, it is worth watching the implementation effects of applications such as the Wenrun large model in cultural and museum scenarios, the actual boost of the autumn holiday free ticket policy on scenic spot visitor flows and study tour product supply, and whether consumer logistics can continue its high prosperity amid regional differentiation in logistics demand.
